
Alan has over 19 years experience in the financial services industry. He began his career with Primerica Financial Services and has worked for other prominent financial services companies such as National Financial Services, Prudential and Synovus. During his career, Alan has developed a holistic approach to his work that accounts for the many factors of personal finance such as protection management, cash flow analysis and improvement, and retirement planning.
Alan focuses on providing timely and useful advice to his clients in order for them to pursue their financial goals. He seeks to deliver that outcome through heartfelt listening, unwavering integrity, and rock solid reliability.
He holds the Series 6 (Investments / variable contracts), Series 7 (General Securities), Series 63 (Uniform Securities State Law exam), and Series 65 (Investment Advisors Law exam) held through LPL Financial. He also obtained the RICP designation (Retirement Income Certified Professional) and Life, Health, and Variable Annuity licenses.
Alan believes it is important to give back to his community and some of his past and present activities to that end have been: working with non-profits such as the United Way, Communities in Schools, Nassau County (FL.) Racial Equality Coalition, local humane society and teaching at this local church. He has also been a member of the local Chamber of Commerce, and volunteered to assist with the local high school girls and boys golf teams.
He received a BS from the University of Akron, OH and advanced studies at the Center for Creative Leadership in Greensboro, NC and the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, MI.
Alan has been married for over 36 years to his wife Sherril and enjoys most all sports and has been an avid golfer for over 53 years. They have a daughter in Jacksonville, a dog named Luke, and a cat named Piper.
